So the brand new Celebrity Edge has now gone on sale for her maiden voyage on the 16th of December starting her Caribbean voyages where she will be based in Fort Lauderdale. This ship is like no other at sea with so many fantastic new amenities on-board such as the new infinite balconies which even I was blown away by this. The balcony itself is now within the cabin and has a separator if you wish to use it to separate the balcony from the cabin. You then have a switch that you can push that will open the balcony window which then opens forward and then down to produce your open balcony and see through glass frame.
The Magic Carpet will certainly be an eye opener for you. This will scale the 16 deck ship through the day and evening offering guest the ease to then disembark the ship when tendering and also act as a specialty restaurant on deck 14 which will hold a capacity of 90 guest and will also offer as an air expansion on deck 14. So definitely something to get excited about as this ship was built for excellence.
The lido deck will host private cabanas (prices TBA) on the starboard side and will also host a private pool area for suite guests giving them exclusive access. The design of the ship has has been completed by internationally renowned interior designer, Kelly Hoppen MBE of Kelly Hoppen Interiors. So you know the standard is going to be very high.
