I Got Married in St Lucia!!

My blog has been out of action for a few weeks. I am back now and have some exciting news!!

Some of you may remember my earlier blog posts about getting married. We did it!! We flew off to St Lucia in September along with 12 friends & family to get married.

It was perfect just how we wanted nice and relaxed in true Caribbean style. We stayed in St James Club Morgan Bay. The hotel was fantastic for our group with something to keep everyone entertained.

So onto our wedding day, All the girls had breakfast together whilst the men all went off on an ATV tour. We then had lunch, all the girls came to my room to get ready as we had a suite!! The wedding ceremony took place at 4pm in a great location with amazing sea views.

After we had a local steel pan band whilst enjoying drinks & canapés!!

We then headed down to the beach to get some photos before sunset.

After our pictures we then headed to Morgans Pier the a la Carte restaurant where we had the whole pier!! We were supplied with our own chef, barman & wait staff to look after us! It was fantastic a nice intimate affair!! We were ready to leave by 9pm so headed off to the Sunset lounge for the evening entertainment. It was a true Caribbean night with steel pan band & limbo dancing with lots of rum punch all round.

If anyone is wanting a nice relaxed wedding day go away and get married!! I am so glad we did.
