First Holiday of the Year

This year is flying by I cant believe March is upon us tomorrow. That means from tomorrow I can official say im going on holiday next month.
Now Charlie is in School we try where possible to travel in school holidays. Although in Scotland they are not as strict as in England for taking children out of school.

We are off to Spain. My family spend a lot of time over on the Costa Blanca in the winter getting sunshine so me and Charlie are heading over to Torrevieja area for the first few days. We will then meet up with my husband Chris and head to La Manga for a few days. La Manga Club has a huge amount of activities available including tennis and golf.

This is really just a chill out couple of weeks after a busy start to the year. We have nothing much planned but the beach, swimming pool and maybe a few days out. We plan on visiting Rio Safari in Elche. We might even pop to Benidorm for a night. My guilty pleasure for a night out! I worked in Benidorm as a holiday rep about 12 years ago and I had such a blast. The weather was great and the Beach there is fantastic. The weather at the moment is really good and its a short flight to catch some winter sun. We need to get a regular intake of vitamin D living in Scotland we dont see much sunshine!

As well as our trip to Spain we have a week off in July, nothing planned as yet we might try and get a late deal maybe a week in Greece. I have also just booked to take Charlie to Disneyland Paris with my mum in October. This will be a surprise for Charlie I cant wait to see his face when we get there. We went 2 years ago but he was a little too young to remember much of it so I think at 6 the experience will be more magical.

Then finally we have our cruise on Allure of the Seas booked for December. We said we were going to have a quiet year for holidays, not sure what happened there!
