Christmas is over – Time to sort the Holiday!

Its that time of year again!! We get Christmas out the way and the January blues kick in. We all know the best way to get rid of them….. Book a holiday!!

Its well known in travel that January and February are peak booking months. Lots of the cruise lines have great offers to get you to book. So have you booked anything yet? I have!! We are off to Poland Skiing next month, Orlando in the summer and we have just booked 10 nights in Turkey for October school holidays.

So let me give you some top tips to get the best deal for you.

What is important to you? Do you like a drink? Would you benefit from a FREE drinks package? If so take a look at NCL, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean cruise. They are all offering different type of drinks packages. If you are anything like me this could potentially save you lots of £££ but make sure you know what drinks package you are getting. Some are better than others, if you are unsure give us a call and we can recommend the best drinks package for you.

Not bothered about a drinks package? How about reasonable on board prices for drinks and some on board credit? Try P&O book on the select fare and you will get some on board credit. Depending on the sailing you might even get free car parking or coach transport to Southampton. The drinks prices on board are the most reasonable at sea and dont forget, they dont mind if you take a bottle or 2 on board to consume in your cabin.

How about for the kids in the family? Now in my opinion this is really age dependent. For younger kids all ships offer great kids club and my son has enjoyed time on board with Cunard, P&O & Celebrity cruises. In fact our most recent cruise with Celebrity he loved the kids club so much he would happily miss out on pudding after his dinner to get to kids club!! You know what that means…. Happy kids = Very happy parents that can enjoy a drinks or 2 in the martini bar!!

For older kids I would have to recommend Royal Caribbean or NCL – They have some great activities on board including the Flow Rider, I Fly sky dive simulator, on Harmony of the Seas the amazing 10 story slide – Would you dare?! You will also find water parks, climbing walls, bowling, cinemas and mini golf to name a few.
