Pre cruise check list!

As a cruise specialist consultant it’s my job to make to make sure you know what to do once you have booked and paid for your cruise so I thought it might be handy to write a quick guide to “what happens next”

1. Everyone travelling must have a passport with at least 6 months left from your return date of travel.

2. Travel insurance is essential for all holiday but especially when cruising as the cruise lines will ask you to provide proof of insurance before you board.

3. I recommend checking if you require Visa’s for your voyage as soon as possible as some take can take a few weeks to process and you don’t want to get caught out and remember you will still need a Visa even if you plan to stay on board the ship. Find out more VISA’S

4. Cruise personaliser – Many cruise lines require you to fill in personal details, including passports, insurance, next of kin etc before tickets or e tickets will be released. Click this link and if your Cruiseline’s Logo appears then you will be required to complete a personaliser.

5. Luggage labels – Some cruise lines still post these out approx 6 weeks before you travel but most now use paper labels. Royal Caribbean & Celebrity guests must request these online using their cruise personliser. But don’t worry if you haven’t got labels before you go as the porters at the terminal will happily provide these for you upon arrival.

6. Shore excursions – You can book these whilst on board or pre book before you go on your cruise personaliser but If you would like to save a few pounds take a look at our range of excursions which you can book directly with your Cruise.co.uk agent.

7. Car parking and hotels – contact your cruise.co.uk consultant as we can offer great rates on parking and hotels.

That’s your check list complete so Bon Voyage!
