Virgin Voyages the count down is on!

With Virgin Voyages just 1 year away from launching their first ship Scarlett Lady how is progress?
Now afloat in its Italian shipyard in Genoa we can begin to see what it looks. One show cabin is very nearly completed featuring a bed that turns into a lounger during the day. So this leaves 1329 cabins to be completed!!
The ship will be adult only with a capacity of 2800 ‘sailors’.(I’m not sure all the guests will be like to be greeted with “Hello Sailor” ) Passengers will be able to take advantage of the largest suite with its own terrace area. This will have an outdoor shower, hot tub, hammocks and a large table extending the width of the deck from which is said to give a fantastic sea view rivaling that from the bridge below. The suite will also feature its own music room with guitars and amps, also available in the other 77 ‘Rockstar Suites’.
Other areas are also taking shape – the nightclub, pool deck, and spa as well as the ‘Wolseley, London’ and ‘The Grill, New York’ inspired restaurant. One area that might not be for everyone is the Athletic Club where there will be netting for passengers to lie on above the sea (Avoid if you don’t like heights)
The pressure is on for the handover in February 2020 after which there will be a 6 week period of sea trials culminating in the Maiden Voyage on the 1st April.

If you want a piece of the action and to be first on board then the Scarlet lady is on sale of all days Valentines Day, Maybe the perfect valentines gift who knows.
