It`s Time To Grab A Bargain

February has arrived and, apparently, it is going to be the coldest on record. Traditionally this is the time of year when holiday and cruise companies hope we are thinking of warmer days, and planning holidays.

Looks  like there are going to be some bargains around, but not necessarily for people who leave booking until the last minute. Last week I booked a lovely cruise on P&O Oceana for some clients of mine which we both thought was a really good deal.

Oceana is one of P&PO`s older ships and for the last couple of years she has spent the summer months doing 7 and 14 night cruises in the Mediterranean. This summer she is sailing out of Valetta in Malta for the first time. Of course she has to sail out from Southampton and back in again at the beginning and end of the summer, and this particular cruise is the repositioning one from Malta back home on 18th October. A ten night journey will see her visit Rome, La Spezia, Marseilles, Barcelona and Gibraltar before arriving back in Southampton.

An inside  cabin on the sailing is priced from just £ 629pp, just over £ 60 per night which is a great price. Regional flights are also available with a free coach transfer from Southampton port back to the departure airport, at the end of the cruise, included. Bargain ! , and its not last minute either.

A bargain does not necessarily have to be the cheapest price on the cheapest cruise.
