Hi my name is Erica although most people know me as Betsy which is my work name, welcome to my cruise page.

I  have been in the travel industry for coming up to 30 years. I started my career in a small independent travel agent, where I went on work experience and they offered me a job there and then. After learning the basics I then went on to Thomson or ‘Lunn Poly’ as we were known then , spending 22 years working my way up from trainee to Deputy Regional Sales manager, along the way I held many roles but the reason why I am probably sat here today working for cruise.co.uk  was my time as a regional cruise expert.

Over the years I have  been lucky enough to of  travelled on and visited many cruise ships which you can find further on in my info along with the places I have visited . I am a total cruise geek !! I love everything about cruise ships and I get so excited when the new ships get launched to hear all about them and  see there first photos fresh out of the shipyards

When it comes to interesting facts about me I always start off by saying ‘ I am an identical twin ‘ so I really  have always shared everything with my sister Jo  including jobs ,her honeymoon , my  wedding night yes that’s right !! the list is endless.

I also share my life with my husband Leon who I have been with for 30 years and married for 23 years  and our  two children my daughter Elika who  is 20 and Corie who is 17. We live in a place called Thornton Cleveleys which is just outside Blackpool .
