People ask the funniest things!!

I just thought I would share a conversation with you that I had with a client recently. The lady in question had never cruised before so obviously was asking a lot of questions about “what was included etc”  and to the best of my ability I was giving her full answers, but a few of the things that were asked I have never been asked before.

1. Do I need to take my own towels and sheets with me? ( She had been looking at a holiday in Torquay and would probabaly have had to bring her own)

2. Can you move out of your cabin and can you go into other people’s cabins? ( She would be travelling with friends so didnt know whether she would be allowed into their cabin!)

3. Can you move around the deck or do you have to stay on the deck your on?

4. Can you get off the ship or do you have to stay on?

Of course I told her that all bed linen (the cabin steward even makes your bed for you) and towels are provided and you are free to move around the ship as you please. If you are travelling with other passengers and you go to their cabin I’m sure they would welcome you in. And you are free to get off the ship at any port of call whether it be to do your own thing or to an excursion organised by the ship.

I was glad that by the time the conversation has ended I was satisfied that I had put her mind at rest and that she had all the answers she needed.

I must admit though afer what has been a bit of a stressful week for me I went to bed with a smile on my face with thoughts of a party of people turning up for a cruise with a suitcase full of sheets and towels!! It doesn’t take much to to cheer me up.
