And Seabourn follow…………..

Seabourn have now also announced that they too will have a no smoking policy on Balconies. Guest will no longer be able to smoke in suites (B2 & B3) onboard  Pride, Spirit & Legend from February 2014. It seems rather odd that you will still be able to smoke in Verandas on OW and CS suites and INSIDE the observation lounge (port side) on deck 10 after 8pm! Maybe this is a ploy by the cruise line to get people to book the higher grades of suites if they are  still determined to smoke.

As a non-smoker my self I think its a good thing that people can not smoke on balconies, there is nothing worse than being in a cabin next door and enjoying a relax on the balcony and smoke wafting over!!

This policy takes effect starting with cruises departing as follows:

Seabourn Pride: February 2, 2014
Seabourn Spirit: February 1, 2014
Seabourn Legend: February 3, 2014
Seabourn Odyssey: February 11, 2014
Seabourn Sojourn: May 1, 2014 (following World Cruise)
Seabourn Quest: March 22, 2014

This of course is only my opinion so what do you think!!
