We married on board a Royal Caribbean ship in Miami (blimey, 7 years ago now!) and The Royal Romance package was superb! We went for the shipboard Harmony of Symphony package which included priority embarkation, an upgrade of cabin (I think), services of the wedding coordinator (who had to zip me into my dress!), wedding officiant, photographer for about an hour, cake, champagne etc. My bouquet was smallish with only cream/white flowers which suited me fine and a button hole rose fo hubby. Have a look on http://www.rccl.no/rcclRsx/no/flex/documents/Royal_Romance_Brochure.pdf as this has some photos of typical bouquets.
We also got a couple of silver photo frames and a small album with approx 25 photos (again from memory, we got a few more as we'd had a few problems with the wedding team in the UK and the yanks stepped in magnificently and sorted things out). I think the photographer thought we were quite mad when we insisted on having a picture taken in our wedding outfits, but wearing the lifejackets!! Always a good talking point when people see that photo in our home!
All in all, neither of us could have asked for more on that day and it was the best experience and we were treated really well indeed. I would highly recommend having the wedding that way, at least you can more or less count on some sunshine!
One caveat I would add - when we planned to get married abroad, RCI would only let us marry on the ship whilst alongside in Miami for some legal reason because we were Brits! Just check that as English folk you will be able to get off and marry on one of the islands.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do and I hope your day turns out to be as memorable and enjoyable as ours was!
