We renewed our vows on ventura in june, it was lovely. we were treated like royalty from the minute we boarded. we were contacted by a lovely lady called michelle when we arrived and she met us the next day to finalise arrangents, nothing was too much trouble. on the day the flourist delivered the flowers to our cabin and they were stunning, we had the traditional service which was very similar to our original church service. the ivory suit was very pretty with lots of flowers. the cake was huge about 10 inches and beautifully iced, much too big for us and our 2 small children - our daughter 7 who thought she was bridesmaid and our son 5 who was "bestmate?" and very much included in the service. we have some amazing photos and the picture frame and champagne glasses are lovely. there were a few other couples renewing their vows too but the services were very spread out so there was no sense of being on a conveyor belt and most of them were on different days, we had a wonderful time with some very special memories and would recommend it to anyone. best wishes helen and grant.

We had our service on a port day but we were given a choice of days and times that the captain could do, he was very nice and made us feel very relaxed about everything. i think they do the weddings on see days because of having to have been in a country for a minimum amount of time before you can wed but at sea you don't have to worry also as you are already married you can renew your vows any where. if you have a particular place in mind i'm sure they'll try their best. hope the dress hunting goes well, you'll love ventura she is big but not in a bad way she's now our favorite ship and we can't wait til we board her again next year. for my husband to be on the phone booking to go again the day we got back it must have been good! enjoy your cruise and the service, helen.
