YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM. I sailed on the worst ship and owned by the worst travel company, the dreaded VAN GOGH, then owned but not now, by TRAVELSCOPE. There were no stabilisers, gale force 9 wind, and we were made to travel back to Greenock, and not liverpool as supposed to. Lies lies lies were told to everyone from the crew..

Saled over the Bay of Biscay three times in a southerly direction and twice in a northerly passage and can say we've never had a bad crossing. It has been like a millpond every time. We crossed it in July, September and even October. So I guess it is pot luck.Have a nice trip.

I think it is one of those unpredictable areas....some people say it was flat calm on their cruise others say it was rough....we went last June and it was choppy!!! but the Sea Princess is a big ship and has stabilisers so it doesn't feel too bad ...just a bit unsteady on the feet!! The secret is to keep low down in the centre of the ship (we went down to the restaurant for breakfast rather than up to the buffet and it was fine!) and once we went into the Med it was superb for the two weeks and then choppy going back over the Bay again but we never needed to take any tablets.

Gone through biscay in November, January, April, September. Never had any problems! The problems we encountered were from Biscay to Lisbon, but only in January. We had a Hurricane! We thought we would never cruise again! But you have to take the rough with the smooth, as they say! Living on planet earth we never Know whats round the corner. Enjoy your cruise, you are not that far from land! In July I would hope you have a good crossing! It all makes for a good? cruise experience.

So recently I have been telling you about all of the voluntary work I have been doing out side of www.CRUISE.co.uk for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.I have recently been at it again with this time being a once of a lifetime experience. The hospital contacted me to say that David Walliams was doing a book reading from his new and latest book, The Midnight Gang.Of course I jumped at the chance to help out in the hope of meeting with the Genius David. It was nice and early on Sunday the 20...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year….. Well I think it is. It is so true what they say, Christmas is so much fun when you have children around. My little boy Finley is 2 and a half now and really starting to understand ‘Mr Christmas’ as he calls him. He is fascinated by Christmas trees with all the lights and decorations, it takes ages to pass a shop that has anything remotely Christmassy in it.We have been waiting for a while now for an operation date for Finley ...
