Hi we have sailed around the Med in April, over the last 2 years and some days it was nice, bright and sunny, others cloudy and rainy! However, the good thing about P and O cruise ships are that the pools are always heated, so even if it is a bit chilly, the kids will still get the chance to swim!

Bit late asking this question as it's the 26th. May now. You can check the next five days sometimes ten days weather on a lot of sites on the net for each port of call. I would expect the weather in Madeira to be very warm with a chance of rain as that's normal. Vigo will be the same but not so warm. Bad weather in the Bay of Biscay is in the lap of the gods but listen to the shipping forecast when Biscay will be mentioned to get a good update. You will get a daily "News sheet" with all the things that you can do when you get on board and it will offer you everything from napkin folding to shuffleboard, you won't know which way to turn. regards .... Nei.

Thanks, I have booked for 2009 and as the weather looks quite poor this week I was curious as to the average weather conditions en route. Is it warm enough for the kids to have a dip in the pool with the kids at sea.
