Sailed twice 2009 starlights is really lovely but footlights theatre is pretty rough, no hand rails so could only sit at the very back of the theatre, also one of the art decco mirror was broken and the stage curtains were falling down on ourfirst cruise we asked about this and were advised that it is too expensive to take it into dry dock for refurbishment nothing had been done on the next two sailings, hopefully she will berefitted as she deserves she is a happy ship and one P&O should be ble to be proud of.

My friend is just back from the Oceana Canaries Cruise and said it was fabulous the rooms were beautiful food and everything else was great in fact I am fed-up hearing her talk about how good the ship was as I have another 14 weeks until our cruise on the Ventura so I am hoping Ventura will be as nice as Oceana even though it is a different kind of ship.

You ...

Southampton Port Parking I...

By Camilla Edwards

Camilla Edwards's blog

I always think arriving at the airport or port is really the start of the holiday but last time I cruised from Southampton it was a bit of a nightmare and very stressful. Traffic jams between Oxford and Newbury made us, and many other passengers, late to start with and on arriving at the cruise terminal the queues were horrendous to say the least. Sitting in a car for an hour and a half looking at Ventura is not the best start to anyone`s cruise. Fortunately we had booked Valet Parking so on...
