According to the P and O web site it says "After her recent refit, Artemis is even more inviting. Many of her most popular venues have a stylish new look" . The ship is old, but it seems generally to be well looked after. We were on Artemis last June. A bit unfair to refer to her as an old tub.

She is having a major refit after she returns to Southampton in April 10. I believe some cabins will to altered to have balconys. Did a cruise on her in November and she was in a very good shape. The word is that Carnival want to keep her for a few more years as there is still a very good market for smaller ships.

By Amy Ginder

Amy Ginder's blog

This time of year we have a lot of calls asking for late availability for the school holidays. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is very late in the day. The answer is book early! Book now for 2018, if you leave it to nearer the time not only will the prices climb but you are unlikely to ge...

Thomson Cruises have made some changes in recent years and things are really working for them, in the last 5 years they have seen an increase in passenger numbers of 40%, with 20% being in the last year alone. They have always been looked down upon by a lot of customers, although unjustly so as their reviews have always been good. But with older ships and less of the pomp and ceremony of other lines they have been viewed as being at the lower end of the market. In 2016, they made a major ...
