Q:We are cruisong on the Artemis departing Southampton 14th December to Oslo, Copenhagen etc. Can anyone tell us how easy it is to get from Ostend to Bruges and where we are better getting the excursion for the day or a taxi? If a taxi, anyone want to share with us?

Hi. If you are going to Zebrugge get the shuttle to Bankenburg and you can walk over to the railway station and get the train to Bruges the journey takes about twenty minutes.Once at Bruge you can get a bus to the city centre for about one euro each.

There is a train very fast too. A tram runs along the coast.

Well its more likely to be Zeebrugge than Ostend. P&O normally run a free shuttle bus to Blankenberg where there is an hourly train service to Bruges or alternatively they have an excursion to Bruges at a higher cost...Brian
