Blyth - Answered a Question by Hughes (30 Sep 08 21:04)

We sailed around Australia and New Zealand in February it was a great holiday but we had no luggage limitations as such. We took 3 cases each with weighed around 18 kilos and no excess was charged, but perhaps there has been a clamp down given the current cost of fuel. We flew with Quantas and BA and although we were worried about the duration of the flights we had no problems and were glad we did it. You can see some shots at http://billblyth.co.uk.

There will be formal nights on board and most 'will make the effort' -I think you will be out of place if you do not. So pack the suit and the long dress please!

And please sign up for the RCR sponsored meet and mingle - well worth it - go to royalcaribbean.co.uk >contact us> FAQs > and then under the On Board section it tells you how. You will have to register (it is free) .

Wilba - Answered a Question by Hughes (01 Oct 08 04:45)

Not wishing to start World War 3, but I did a couple of Far Eastern cruises a few years back with a high Australian contingent & it was noticable that very few wore much even approaching 'Formal'. If I was unlucky or things have changed in the recent years then I stand corrected. I know a couple of Ozzies post on this site so maybe they could give us a more localised view on this subject. Regards.
