Mr Parkinson - someone is looking for you...../cruise-answers/read/question_c7422/.
The zoo , as I remember, is in the north of Lisbon and can be reached with two buses from the ship or a taxi but I would recommend if you are not totally committed to the zoo that you catch the ship’s bus into central Lisbon or the train to Cais do Sodre station take the Metro to Alameda, change and go to Oriente then visit the Parque das Nacoes (Park of Nations) on the old Expo 98 site. It is a great site with a cable car, aquarium, and several extremely interesting pro-active halls. It is very good for children as well as adults and something totally different from the normal visitor sites. Look it up on the net.
And some one earlier (scroll back a few pages) was asking for people to sign up to the meetandmingle for this cruise - have you done that???
