Hi can't help with Mondello beach, but, we went in a taxi for eight from Naples to Sorrento and then on to Positano, absolutely fabulous, did not have enough time to complete the amalfi coast drive, as we had stops in sorrento and Positano, cost originally 320 euros, but we negotiated it down to 300 euros, so quite expensive, though not as expensive as ships tour, there were plenty of taxis on the dock when we got off the boat, but we were quite early - just don't watch the driving enjoy the view have fun.
