Brilliance of the Seas is generally perceived to be one of the best ships RCI has. She is known as the 'ship of light' because of the vast expanses of glass. Built in 2002 and she will be going in for a full dry dock spruce up in April this year. Entertainment for your cruise is: BEATLES TRIBUTE SHOW, JUGGLER, TRIBUTE ACT, ELTON JOHN TRIBUTE, VIOLINIST, IMPRESSIONIST, ADIAGE & FLYERS, TANGO SHOW, COCKTAIL PIANIST, INTERNATIONAL DUO, LATIN DUO and the production shows.

The different style in design makes the Radiance Class superbly set up, so I would say modern. They call it Yacht style and if you don't love it then several of us will be surprised. The activity staff are always well picked and a joy to be around and the entertainment is normally better than Celebrity's and on a par with Princess's. Last time I was on her she had a Norwegian Captain with a fantastic singing voice.....Id.

The sun is shining, at last, at least it was yesterday, and hopefully, it will last into next week as I am off on holiday! A couple of weeks ago I set off for Southampton to join Brittania for a friends Daughters Hen do. We set off early morning to make sure we would get there in plenty of time and as this was only a 2 night cruise and wanted to make the most of it. A few bottles of Prosecco and other beverages later we arrived at the terminal around 12.45.In usual P&O fashion we were handed a coloured card with a letter on and had to wait our turn. Unbeknown to us at this time there were system issues and ...
