Weather hot and humid with rain in the south, rather chilly up in Japan. You will get your visa for Vietnam on the ship - other places you do not need visas for.

Puddleduck - Answered a Question by SMITH (15 Jan 08 11:15)

The rhapsody is a nice sized ship, and has all the key features of the Royal brand such as: windjammer buffet restaurant (serves breakfast, lunch and dinner), 24 hour room service, Ben & Jerrys Ice cream bar, main dining restaurant (on RH is Edelweiss), solarium, main pool, gym and spa area, jogging track on deck 10, rock climbing wall, schooner bar, casino, theatre and the viking crown lounge. each Royal ship also has the childrens day club Adventure Ocean for kids 6 mnts - 17 yrs, and there is also a teen centre. Being that the ship is smaller than the larger classes like Freedom and Voyager, there is only a small selection of shops available onboard, such as perfume shop, photo shop, souvenir shop, jewellery shop and a clothes shop. Guests enter the ship on deck 4, and the centrum runs up to deck 8. My favourite, there is a champgane bar on deck 4 also. Hope this helps.

If you go into the www.royalcaribbean.com site you can access all the trips out at each port of call. As of today we have received nothing from them regarding these excursions, unlike all the other cruises we have been on.If you don't have a computer presumably you cannot book anything until you get on board. I would be glad to have some feedback from you if you go on any of the tours, particularly if they are long distance ones and the travel is such that you get virtually no time at your destination. Enoy yourselves - we are following in 3 weeks.

Exciting news from a Celebrity

2018 is going to be an exciting year for cruising and Celebrity are really mixing it up a bit!For a few years now we have had the lovely Eclipse based in Southampton, which has been great as P&O, Cunard and Royal Caribbean notably dominated the port until the 5* Eclipse was based there. Just what cruisers needed. I even personally sailed on the Eclipse back in May for a mini cruise to Le Harve. It is a beautiful ship it has to be said and the food, service, cabins etc are all top notch. B...
