I think that is what you will have to do, ask Princess that is, as Mrs M so rightly says. I searched through all of the information from Princess on their web pages and there is not a mention of their smoking policy that is immediately obvious. It is no good looking at the 2008/9 brochures because they will probably have changed their policy by the time you cruise. I will say this though; most of the changes being made favour the non-smoker. .... Neil.

Thanks to both people for answering. In the end I did ask Princess who said smoking WAS allowed in staterooms. However if a room had been smoked in they did a deep clean befoer the next occupant & if really impregnated with smoke, curtains were changed etc & carpet steamed, so that is partly reassuring as I get sinus trouble from fumes etc. Other than that, there are only designated areas for smokers inside and out.
