We were on the Sea Princess last Christmas/New Year. There was a formal night on Christmas Eve, but Christmas Day was very low key, the attire of the day was casual, possibly because we were in Tortola. I know a lot of people thought this was disappointing and wondered if it was an American thing. However, New Years Eve was wonderful with a deck party and the Captain discovered that a large firework display was taking place in Curacao, so anchored the ship off there at midnight. You will have a great time as Christmas in the Caribbean is special and you will still get crackers, mince pies, Christmas carols and even snow in the Atrium! Also, lots of people take decorations for the cabin, if you like them.

So we took them to Poulton Park which I highly recommend to families with young children. Great for 2 years old and up to the age of 6 yrs. Here we saw Peppa pig at Peppa pig’s world where all the themed attra...

Fancy a Movie Night in or Away?

By Haydn Jones

Haydn Jones's blog

There is nothing my family love more than cuddling up of a Sunday night , curtains closed, eating microwave popcorn and watching a movie. Its become a Sunday night tradition in our house. Although there is something my two boys love slightly more – movies under the stars on a cruise. We often end up missing the shows and evening entertainment, because for them this is the perfect treat. Sun loungers, blankets, hot chocolate and even pop corn and pizza bought to you whilst watching a fil...
