We were on Crown Princess in November. We played St Lucia, St Kitts and US Virgin Islands. The Mahogany Run couse on VI was the most spectacular but difficult. St Kitts was the most enjoyable interms of the course, veiws and the staff. We booked on ship to take advantage of the guide who was an Australian LPGA player. She made the trip very enjoyable and went round wtith the groups giving instruction. Looking on the web site there didn't appear to be much saving by going independantly. There was aslo the advantage that if the gold was extended the ship would still be waiting for us! We took our own clubs but the hire clubs were top of the range current season Nike.

I have been on three Caribbean Cruises and found that the golf excursions were all overpriced. By the time you have added the cost of club hire, shoes etc you will get no change out of $200 and dont forget luch etc is not included. If you dont mind paying this amount you will find the day enjoyable but take plenty of water.

Based on national averages, this equates to each person in the U.S. using about 38,000 straws between the ag...

By Lesley Millward

Lesley Millward's blog

In the luxury cruise world there are a few cruise lines you would I am sure, remember. The likes of Regent, Crystal, Viking, Hapag Lloyd, Seabourn, Oceania, and Silverseas.
