So' Roger and Di, what are you saying? Do you want to start a disillusioned club, a rail against Princess Society or a "Let's get together and sue 'em " Organisation ? I've heard about this cruise and it's short-comings and the weather but I am not sure whether you want to express your frustrations or to do something.....Nei.

The Sapphire Princess sailed from Thailand although Princess knew what weather was expected. It missed 4 ports out of 9 and when the subject of compensation came up, the Captain dismissed it out of hand until he was presented with a petition of some 1800 names. (port charges having been saved)At one stage, no information had been given about the cancellation of one port until 9-30am whilst passengers had waited for their tours in the lounges from 7-00am !The cruise director was very offhandish, implying that it was something the passengers had to put up with! The outcome was that each passenger was given an on board credit of $250 and 50% off of any future Princess cruise. There is loads more to comment on but perhaps some other passenger would like to comment.

Last week I spent two nights on the newly revamped Independence of the Seas.We sailed from Southampton in glorious sunshine to Le Havre and back. This was my third time on board this ever-popular ship and I was keen to see the changes to her after a big refit. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 which had everything we needed for a comfortable break. I’m not generally a fan of mini-cruises. They offer an excellent way for someone like myself to see the ships but I do not think they are a g...
