Norwegian Sun

OVERVIEW: What this offers is plenty of bars and lounges to play in, and multiple dining and snacking options. But the food in the large dining rooms is a weak point, and the ship is full of revenue centers, designed to help you part you from your money.

Seabourn Legend

OVERVIEW: Seabourn Legendcan cruise to places where large cruise ships can’t, thanks to its ocean-yacht size. For a grand, small-ship vacation in fine surroundings, with just over 100 other couples as neighbors and excellent food that approaches gourmet standards, it’s hard to beat. It is best suite

Not a fan of MSC
MSC  / MSC Preziosa /

We have sailed with many of the cruise lines but thought we would try MSC Prezioza which was sailing from Venice. The embarkation procedure is organised chaos, it took hours to board. The drinks package is worth it, try the Allegresimo, 23 euros+15%, per...  Read More >>

Can anyone who has dined in the Peninsular or Oriental restaurants on Azura tell us how the tables for 2 are arranged?. We have dined in the Meridian restaurant on Freedom Dining and been very disappointed when we got to our long-awaited table for 2 to find most of them are arranged in a long line with barely a foot between each table! This doesn't give a lot of privacy and makes getting in and out difficult as well (especially if you have enjoyed your food during the cruise!). Do they have the same set-up in the other main dining rooms on Azura?

If we have a table for 2 on freedom dining on Azura or Ventura we just ask for one of the tables with two chairs, rather than one of the runs of tables for 2 in a line with chair/bench configuration. There are at least 6-8 such tables and although it might may mean a bit of a wait it suits us better.

That is what we did too and we never had to wait more than 30 mins. It made dinner more enjoyable.
