My wife and I are booked on Ventura N311 from 18 May for 7 nights to the Fiords.
Bergen, Olden, Molde and Stavager.
Can any reader recommend places to visit on these shore days. Walking is an issue for my wife.
Thank you. Roger.

Norway is very proud of its' currency, the Norwegian Krona. At most tourist spots they will accept Euros, but you will suffer in the conversion. Shops have to convert to NK at their bank! My recommendation would be to take a few NK for small purchases and pay with a Premium Credit Card which does not charge for the conversion. Bear in mind that Norway is very, very expensive. Olden - avoid the Trolley Trains - they are expensive and only go up the valley through the largely featureless village and back to the ship. Take a ship's tour here which is sympathetic to your wife's walking abilities. Stavanger - take the ship's tour up the Lysefjord to the famous Pulpit Rock - your tour boat will stop and return right up to the ship.

In Bergen you might try the City Sightseeing bus. You can hop on and off anywhere on it's circuit to take in local sights. Slightly more expensive than similar franchises in other cities, but then most things in Norway are more expensive!

Thank you. Can we use the euro on this cruise or will we need different currencies for each visit?

Will we need different currencies for each visit? I know we are outside the eurozone but do they accept euros?
