Neil Down - Answered a Question by birkett (13 Jul 08 16:20)

As no one else has answered I will give you some information although I have not ( nor intend to) travelled on Ventura. These cabins are some of the most sought after cabins on all the ships which have them. In general the have larger balconies and therefore better room for loungers, tables etc. They have better and longer views than most other cabins and when travelling in a the right direction will get the sun during the day, or show a spectacular sunrise or sunset with the right oportunity. They can be but are not usually overlooked. The three drawbacks are that you sometimes get smuts from the stack landing in your private space, the lower down you are the more likelihood there is of vibration or noise although I have never found this to be noticeable and generally speaking you have farther to walk each time you leave or go to your cabin. Definitely mor pros than cons for me regards.... Neil.
