No don`t change your booking , the ship is lovely. my husband and i were on the maiden voyage ,there were a lot of problems with the lower cabins on p deck with noise from the stabelisers and a few other teething problems,if you are higher in the ship dont worry. the staff are wonderful shows are westend standard , a few too many comics for us , but if thats what you want thats fine , there is something for everyone .enjoy you holiday. top advise would be take some travel sickness tablets just in case we did need them , but it was april, i`m sure yours will be wonderful . enjoy !!!
There have been several very positive reviews on Ventura on the P&O website. They have just updated their website at pocruises.com. Why not register on that site then you will have lots of information about P&O and Ventura in particular. People with families have said it is excellent.
We are going on the Ventura at Christmas and very worried about all the negative reports given of the Ventura mainly regarding the food. I am going to write to P & O regarding this and hope that they rectify all the problems people are experiencing. The Independence of the Seas is a new ship but you never see any bad reports about this ship.
You will have a great cruise on Ventura, the entire age range will enjoy it. I wouls howver suggest, as a seasoned P&O cruiser that it is not quite as good as the other P&O ships - as the reviewers are mainly experienced P&O'ers the reviews are understandably less than encouraging.
