The kids club is free until 10pm and then its $5 per hour until 1am. The staff at the kids club are one of the few who you have to tip seperately at the end of your cruise too.

Forgot to say that they add $10 per adult and $5 per child per day for your waiting and cabin staff and they put gratuity on your drinks which goes to the drinks servers and these are added straight onto your bill therefore don't fall into the trap of adding extra tips as you may find that you are paying the server more than your drinks cost. There is the option of paying a one off fee to allow your kids and yourself unlimited soft drinks, might be worth checking this out if not just for the kids.

Thanks Kirk, 1 read somewhere that the kids club is only free if you are on an excursion, otherwise it is $5 a child per hour. is there a limit on number of kids in club, could they be refused entry. On the speciality restaurants is the cover charge the same for adults and kids. thanks in advanc.

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...

Two nights on Indy..

By Alison Ranaldi

Last week I spent two nights on the newly revamped Independence of the Seas.We sailed from Southampton in glorious sunshine to Le Havre and back. This was my third time on board this ever-popular ship and I was keen to see the changes to her after a big refit. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 which had everything we needed for a comfortable break. I’m not generally a fan of mini-cruises. They offer an excellent way for someone like myself to see the ships but I do not think they are a g...
