Firstly have you read the reviews? You probably have that's why your asking the question, but without knowing your expectations & cruising background, if you have one, it's difficult to answer. The new ships are a very good standard & the decor & style would suit most tastes. Service is good throughout the ships, food is very forgettable, some say school dinners, ships are the cleanest I've ever been on, organisation at embarkation/disembarkation can be chaotic, entertainment as very little vocal content as they cater for a wide range of nationalities. Italian & German are normally the largest passenger groups, who have different idea of 'manners' to the Brits, (read my reveiw Musica Xmas 2007). Overall, if you've never cruised before or you can get a good price deal, then I'm sure you would enjoy it. If however your expecting five star food & Las Vegas style entertainment then you may need to reconsider. Regards Wilba.
Having just returned from msc rhapsody I admit the ship is not as elegant as the other larger ships but it is immaculate in maintenance and very very clean. The staff very friendly and helpful.I felt the food was of a excellent standard with plenty of choice for everyone. Buffet breakfast and lunch and al a carte in the evening. The staff speak numerous languages and didn't feel the under dog by being english, even the entertainment changes for all nationalities. If you read all the negative reviews as we did you will dread your holiday, but if you go with an open mind I'm sure you will have a good time.
