Parkhurst - Answered a Question by Fisher (24 Aug 07 18:03)

Hi - I have just got back off that cruise. We were doing a tour of the UK out of Dover, we went to Orkneys (but not able to get off as weather too rough), we then went to Stornaway (outer hebrides), Londonderry, Dublin, Milford Haven, Fowey and then should have been a stop at Guernsey but unfortunately the sea was too rough to use the tenders so we diverted to Cherbourg (france) instead. Unfortunately we did not have the greatest of weather - but didn't expect too much as we are use to the great british summers. We had a lovely day in Dublin and the best day of all was Fowey - we were so surprised that the ship could get into such a small place. We spent a lovely day here and I certainly enjoyed my cream tea and my husband had a cornish pasty - not that we needed extra food with all that we got on board Boudicca.
