Neil and Ida Down - Answered a Question by Coles (10 Dec 07 20:26)

You don't say which grade cabin you have but in Mauritania grade you can have a dressing gown (robe) "on request" shampoo and shower gel or soap are provided. I am not sure whether they still give out the towelling slippers but towels a plenty and beach or swimming pool towels are readily available. In Caronia grade and upward they provide the dressing gown. Not sure about a fridge. The swimming pool on QE2 always struck me as an afterthought and the water is well below the deck side and often moves about dangerously. Shuttles are normally provided where you are a bit away from the town but I will be willing to bet they will charge for them and it is often better to join up with another couple and take local transport or a taxi in.

This will be completely different to our last cruise in December on Allure of the Seas and I dont think Charlie realises how small...
