We are going to Alaska next year if we dock at 6:oclock in the morning in Seattle WA would a 12:o'clock flight give us enough time to get to the airport as we have congierge class so we would have early embarkment. Thanks.

What a treat awaits you!!...It is FANTASTIC The ship is smart casual which is a refreshing change. For the shore excursions wear light weight trousers. On the only day I wore shorts I got bitten by sand flies. To cope with the wet landings get some water sandals. You can get these from shops like blacks. The most important thing is a hat. Even if you think you can do without one YOU WILL NEED A HAT!!! Take lots more film than you think that you need. Last of all have a great trip. Marjorie Market Harboroug.

I have recently returned from the Galapagos. Although we chose a small yacht, I looked carefully at the Xpedition as we have crusised larger ships previously. I believe the evenings are smart casual, not necessarily black tie. Day time you should wear trainers or walking shoes, loose clothing and a hat. Take lots of sunblock to.

Gill We went in March 2006. Weather was warm to hot and dry. Light clothing but possibly consider long trousers / sleeves to protect from several hours in the sun or a good sun cream/sunblock. Some landings are wet landing from a zodiac. we had three days in Quito first, also warm though evening a bit cooler. Dress on ship is fairly relaxed and no ceremony. Guides are excellent. Each days trips, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, offer a choice of easy, mediumn or hard. We did all the hard ones, usually means hilly or rocky or lots of time in the open sun. None were that hard. Xpedition provide wet suits if snorkelling. Can email me on dave_me@bigfoot.com if specific questions. Enjoy it. Dave .

FUNICULAR FUN IN BERGEN!

By Hannah Wilson

So on our recent Fjords cruise on Balmoral myself and Holly decided that having splashed out, quite literally, on the Rib Adventure in Eidfjord that we would just do our own thing in Bergen, get off the ship and wander around, however, just outside the cruise terminal we happened upon a Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop and decided that we would have a tour round Bergen on that, covering more ground. The tour takes around an hour and you get a good taste of the city, Norway’s second largest, all ...

A mini cruise to remember..

By Ruby Perkins

Ruby Perkins's blog

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...
