Long haul, short haul, Thomas Cook are terrible. Increasing seat pitch will help but the seats are virtually unpadded with metal sticking into your back and they are not very wide (most peoples shoulders are wider)so you are shoved up against your neighbour or the crew bash you in the shoulder every time they and/or their trollys go past. Food - yuk, service - appalling. That is why there are so many complaints. You spend a lot of money on a cruise but it is nowadays ruined by the poor charters some lines use.

Princess cruises or your agent whom you booked with may be able to give you a more definite answer. However, during 2007/08 season to the Caribbean, the Sea Princess passengers flew with Thomsonfly from Manchester and Gatwick passengers flew with Thomas Cook. I've flown twice with Thomsonfly to the Caribbean whilst holidaying with Princess Cruises and they were good. There were an enormous amount of complaints from passengers who flew with Thomas Cook this year. But rumour has it they are refurbishing their planes they use for long haul flights.

Hello again from frosty Yorkshire!Anyone who knows me , knows that I absolutely adore dogs. I have three dogs, Tilly, Oscar and Teddy and I love them all. Oscar hobbles around on three legs and Teddy is stone deaf, so Tilly looks after them both and she’s the little bossy madam!Another thing I love though, is going on holiday, and I know some people who either don’t go on holiday or only go away in the UK because they just can’t bear to leave their little pooches behind. Not...

The cruise line will have 5 ships based in European waters for the 2018 season. The major change is that the Sapphire Princess will be comimg over from the Far East to Europe for the first time, I think this is to make way for the new Majestic Princess that will be in Asia from May next year. With 57 unique itineraries, visiting 35 countries in Europe this opens open a few more new options for Princess...
