Blyth - Answered a Question by bradley (12 Jun 08 17:56)

If you have a good tour guide this should not be the case but if you find they are rushing you then complain to them and ask them to take into account you cannot get about as fast as they can and it should work if it doesn't then take their name and report them to the cruise line staff who are organising the trips. On some ocassions on returning to the ship there is a tour guide supervisor so have a go at them as well if they are available. Most Brits don't complain, it is a tradition that does us no good, you have paid money in good faith and you should expect to be treated like any normal human being.

Read the tour brochure that will be sent to you it will give you an idea of what the trip entails and using symbols will tell you of what level of effort may be required, and if there are steps/ uneven or unpaved roads, you can ask the tour desk on the ship for suitable tours. We took two that were wheel chair friendly and had no problems pushing the chair and keeping up,have a nice cruise.
