The main dance floor on Oriana is of reasonable size and will certainly allow you to do a good selection of steps and turns without falling off the edge but it is not as large as the Queen’s Room on QE2 or QM2. I am unable to remember the size on the Braemar. If you enjoy dancing you should enjoy the dancing on Oriana. Regards Ida .

Brown - Answered a Question by Streatfield (29 Nov 08 13:57)

The dance floor in 'Harlequins' is more than adequate, my husband and I both dance and found the floor well sprung. Not the largest floor in the world but suitable for modest dancing. (Do not try and strictly leg swings !!!!. We were on the Oriana in June for 15 nights and the dancing was the highlight of our evenings. Book and enjoy Sue Brown.

La Spezia ? where.

By Nicola Milligan

Mediterranean cruises are calling into several ports depending on the size of the cruise ship. So Livorno is commonly know as the port to visit Florence and Pisa. This is a big industrial port so if you have been to both of those cities before not a lot for you to do.We are now finding some ships are calling into La Spezia as an alternative. However the journey can take over two hours each way, so what else is there to do in this area of Italy.I have been recommended by a regular customer a m...

I visited Cuba recently and had an amazing experience. The people, the way of life and culture. I learned a lot of it’s history, more than just what I would have learned at school. It was very interesting to see at first hand what life is like there.Being on an escorted tour I was able to see the real Cuba. Not just a few nights in Havana and then spending the rest of our time on a beach. I visited Cuba in-land, I saw the farms, the tobacco and coffee plants and just how the real people...
