What are the advantages of pre-booking wine packages, which are in GBP. Are they cheaper than the on board prices in USD? Do both these prices change in line with currency fluctuations? I also believe that 15% gratuities are added to pre-paid wine packages the end of the cruise similar to if you had booked on board.

The current price in US Dollars is $345 inc the 15% grat for the 12 bottle Platinum Pack if you purchase onboard. I doubt very much you will save £60 by pre purchasing, in fact a few months ago I pre purchased the same pack for £208, a saving then as now of about £7 on 12 bottles. Hardly worth worrying about..........Wilba

Prices do change in line with currency fluctuations, but the difference is fairly minimal at the moment, As for your 15% being added at the end of cruise, not true. The 15% is added at the point of sale, so if you pre purchase, it will be added there and then...........Wilba
