Find Your Cruise
Thank you Mrs Blyth,Did you enjoy the ship itself.
On a 12 night cruise 3 formal the rest casual. Their website advises the attire for formal is Cruise Elegant Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If you wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so. Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening gowns, that's great too! Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Elegant dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, jeans, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats.
We did a 12 night cruise starting the end of july , there were 2 formal evenings ie evening suit , bow tie , cumerbund etc ,ball gown or smart dress for the ladies, other nights smart casual . Very good atmosphere on board , our waitresses were called Natascha & Irena . DEMAND their table as they are A1 !!!! Don't do dining room breakfasts , do the buffet breakfast, much better .City tours expensive & rather boring so walk or short taxi into copenhagen,Helsinki,Amsterdam,Tallin.Walk into Warnemunde, not far.St Petersburg you must be on a tour or you can't get off the ship !Altogether a very enjoyable cruise(my 1st), all staff very helpful , friendly and polite.HOWEVER , in the small print there is a 15% service charge added to any drinks , BUT you can take this off your bill at the end of your cruise (you have to register your credit card against your SAIL and SIGN card at the start of your cruise ).Take your continental voltage adaptor as the ship doesn't have 240 volts UK sockets . Hope these tips and comments help to make your trip even better than ours was , if you need any more info post another note !
Thank you so much for your information, one other question which trip did you do in St.Petersburgh? were you pleased with your choice? Oh were the hairdriers in the cabins.
