I have been on a good few Thomson cruises and have always been able to use my scooter and also the crew are really helpful with disabled passengers both on and off the ships.

YES, if embarking and disembarking in Southampton and wheelchair assistance is requested then is is freely available and the guys who push the wheelchairs will take you to your cabin. In a foreign port if alongside then there is help to get a w/chair down the gangplank and back up again on your return. If the ship has to tender then the crew will offer a steadying arm to assist, however the w/chair passenger will have to show that they can stride across an 18 inch gap and P&O check this before the day and also on the day. Be re-assured that the crew will ensure your safety.
