However you arrive at the terminal, by bus or by taxi; them process of embarkation is very easy. Your luggage will be taken by one of the many porters and you will be directed to the embarkation hall. There you will join one of the lines waiting to be processed. If you have completes the on line embarkation forms then the procedures is just a few minutes. Even if you haven't the embarkation staff are very good and you will be oon board the ship in a short time. There are plenty of staff about to help you if you have any questions. The whole process is much easier and more friendly than going by air. Don't worry, and enjoy the cruise.

You make your way to the Cruise Terminal. Offload your baggage. Check in. Wait to be called for embarkation. Simple. O'Brien.

You haven't mentioned how you are travelling to Southamton. If you travel by organised coach (Eavesway) your luggage will be taken from the coach and delivered to your cabin. You simply walk in through security checkpoint (similar to an airport) then check in at reception. You then board the ship, the whole process is usually very quick & efficient. Your luggage sometimes takes a few hours to be delivered to youir cabin but you can access your cabin from 1.00pm. If you drive down and are using the port car parks you will be directed to the luggage drop off point before parking your car. (very close to ship)then simply walk to the security / reception as above. Enjoy your cruise.

Dont miss your ship.

By Dawn Gardener

For some reason, there seems to be more and more stories of cruise guests missing their ship when in port. I am on several cruise pages via Facebook and have heard this a lot recently where guests comment on how the ship departed leaving guests on shore because they didn’t get back in time. Last year there was the famous you tube video going around of the couple that left their kids on the ship whilst they went on shore and then missed it as it departed from Nassua with her screami...

Were Turning Japanese!

By Collette Apak

Collette Apak's blog

Over the last couple of years we have seen a huge rise in the number of people booking cruises that visit Japan. Maybe it’s the fact that many people have done the Mediterranean & Caribbean itineraries and are now wanting to look at somewhere different or whether a certain Joanna Lumley has prompted people’s interest after her TV series? Who knows? But in answer to this demand we are celebrating all things Japanese this week. I would certainly like to take a trip there and see...
