Hi, we are booked to go on Ventura on the 2nd Jan. and three of our party have second sitting club and two have been given Freedom. When we phoned P&O they told us that the other two wouldl possibly be given Club when on board. Seeing as we have been booked for nearly a year now we are not happy as we do not want to be seperated. they also told us that they hold some reservations back but surely if you have people who have paid the whole of their money and wish to have club diining who are they holding it back for VIP's. I also read another revied where a gentleman said that he felt annoyed that he didnt get the club as the freedom dining is very casual and that they had take all their formal clothing and could not wear it. Try to get it booked before you go as we were told well just complain when you get back!! (not good enough).

It probably wouldn't make much difference as it seems to be if they are overbooked for 2nd sitting you will be offered Freedom instead. Perhaps give them a call if you really don't want 1st sitting. My money is on that you'll end up on Freedom as many people have criticised it, we actually chose it and found it to be fine if you booked in the morning.

We cannot say for the ventura but we have travelled with oceana and obtained the second sitting upon booking. Once on the ship we spoke to a few people who had freedom dinging but had managed to change their dining bookings to the second sitting in club dining so once on the ship I would enquire at the club dining restaurant they may be able to help. If you go for freedom dining then you will pay a tip each time you use this facility on your onboard account.

Royal Caribbean’s 4th Oasis Class ship is about to grace us with her presence in a few months time but will she have the X Factor. It was announced recently that the biggest ship in the world will have some brand new features which sets her apart from her sisters.I for one am a big fan of Oasis Class after sailing on Allure of the Seas 2 years ago but the 6500 passenger vessel isn’t to everyone’s taste. For me Symphony will not only have the X factor but a huge emphasis on t...

Well what a week it’s been with the collapse of Monarch, it has sent shock waves through the travel industry and here at www.CRUISE.co.uk our team have been working hard to ensure that our cruise customers have been looked after and that it has had a minimal effect on their cruise booking.I have been so sad and upset for all those employees waking up last week to find their job had gone…just like that! I have been in that situation before, a good few years ago now but I remember how h...
