Q: My wife and I are going to the Caribbean with our two children, daughter 13 and son 12. My father booked the holiday and told us that Virgin had put my daughter as the lead passenger in the room that her and her brother would share. Now he tells us that my wife and I have been put down as leads in rooms with my daughter and son respectively. One of these rooms is on the same deck as and fairly close to my parents' room, the other is on a different deck. What are the possibilities that our children will be allowed to share one room whilst my wife and I can have our own room as well? I would rather know what to expect before we go than find out at the last minute and be disappointed. 1 answer

Children of 12 & 13 cannot share a cabin on their own. For the purpose of 'boarding' an adult will need to be the lead passenger in each cabin. Once your on board you can 'sleep' wherever you like. It's a common problem with many families, but not a problem at all once you've boarded.
