What is the parking like at Liverpool Cruise Terminal, Sailing 21 December 2010, Xmas Cruise, Boudicca.
Also, is there a service charge on all monies spent on-board or is it just normal tipping.

Answer by Wood, Cambuslang (07 Nov 10 18:35) to a QUESTION by Jackson (04 Nov 10 19:28)
We use the Mannpower parking facility at Langton Dock in Liverpool. It costs £6 per day and they will take you to and from the ship. Their telephone no is 0151 281 3243. As Woods says, there is no service charge on purchases on board any of Fred's ships. Tipping is discretionary but for guidance the suggested amount is £2 per person per day for your waiter and the same for the lady that looks after your cabin but it is entirely up to you. Envelopes are provided for you to make whatever tip you wish to give.

On any Fred Olsen ship there is no service charge on anything bought on board ship. The price your see is the price your pay. Normal tipping applies to waiters and cabin steward. Beware though if you cruise entails any Spanish port a sales tax may apply to any purchases bpought whilst docked or in Spanish territorial waters.
