Hi my husband and I did our first cruise on sea princess round the Med last september, and loved every minute! We opted for an inside cabin having never cruised before and were on dolphin deck.We have since been on P&O ventura and had a balcony cabin, which was definately worth the extra. In comparrison we found cabin on princess bit snug but found a home for everything. But even though cabins lovely on ventura, being brand new ship!I would have swapped it to be back on sea princess.everything else without question was far better, the food, service, entertainment, and the staff. There was such a nice atmosphere, maybe because smaller ship, but we will definately be cruising with princess again!Wouldn't personally bother with obstructed view, think might as well stick with it and spend £600 extra in bar, then won't care if got window or not! All jokes apart, even if get upgraded not any bigger as we were upgraded to 3 berth. Can't help you on the La Guaria front as never been there.but I am sure will be fine.Hope have been helpful and wish you happy hols!Hope you enjoy sea princess as much as we did!

Sea Princess is my favorite ship - she is lovely. The inside cabins are fine. Use the TV and put it onto the web cam channel (volume muted) it then acts as a window otherwise permanent darkness can make it difficult to wake up. Order breakfast in bed to wake you up. We ordered tea and juice and toast. Then got up and went for breakfast proper. What you have read about La Guaria is true. Treat it as a lovely relaxing day on board. Passengers were very unhappy with this port but they and other lines go there because fuel is cheap in Venizuela. This keeps the cruise price down so try and look positivly at the call. Do NOT go ashore unless on an organised trip and you will still be warned not to wear ANY jewellry or take anything that can be stolen (cameras/money/bag etc.) Ignore this at your peril. I saw the blood on those who thought they new it all !

A Lovely holiday for all the f...

By Silvana Hollinrake

Me, my husband and my two children have just returned from a long weekend away in Southampton and on the Celebrity EclipseThe cruise was only two nights so I though to extend our little holiday by spending two nights in Southampton before the sailing and take them to a theme park. So we took them to Poulton Park which I highly recommend to families with young children. Great for 2 years old and up to the age of 6 yrs. Here we saw Peppa pig at Peppa pig’s world where all the themed attra...

The M1 Out of sight out of mind!

By Marie Turner

‘Most have heard of the M1 , that long South-North motorway that connects London to Leeds, but did you know that on a cruise ship they have ther very own “M1”. This is the central busy hub under the passenger decks which cruise members use to make their way round the ship, and on our recent trip on the brand New Majestic Princess we were welcomed to the M1 for an exclusive www.CRUISE.co.uk tour. This eye opening tour was simply mind boogling the amount of people down their...

I cannot believe how quickly my little Norway trip has come around, It’s almost time!On 25th May, I am off on a 5 night fjords cruise on the Brilliant Balmoral. This will be my third cruise on this ship and I just love the Balmoral and Fred Olsen the most! This trip will be what Fred Olsen are known for, based on the Norwegian heritage they say nobody does the Fjords better than Fred!Being a 26 year old cheap means I am certainly not a typical Fred Olsen guest, they tend to attract an ...
