Nothing wrong with Vista deck ideal to get the lift down to the main diningroom and also only two flights of stairs up to the pool area. We like Concierge class it is a middle ground between a suite and an ordinary cabin/stateroom with lots of extras we think it is worth it not everyone agrees, so if you are not that might be worth thinking about. The Century under went a massive refit in May 2006 when extra balconies were added at a cost of $55 million. We first sailed in her in 2000 and it is probably the ship we like the most so far and next Sept 09 we will be onboard again to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary.

What an coincident! We celebrated our Pearl wedding anniversary last week and going on this cruise is our treat to ourselves. Thank you for your comment. This is our first time with Celebrity Cruises and on aft. I hope we will enjoy it.

When you booked the cruise did you include your anniverary date, if not get back to the travel agent and or Celebrity and advise them they do sometimes ask for a copy of the certiifcate to prevent passengers making all sorts of claims. When on the ship fill up the form to join the Captains' club lots of benefits as you cruise with Celeb in the future the same with other cruise lines these loyalty cards are worth a lot more than the supermarket ones are, we know as we are Elite members of Celeb.

Thanks for the tip but it is also my husbands birthday when we on that cruise. Our anniversary was the 27th of July, therefore I only mentioned his birthday.

Thomson Cruise A whole new...

From the airline purchasing brand new Dreamliner planes from Boeing, to the introduction of exclusive properties to cater for every type of holiday maker.Whilst working there I saw a few minor changes to the cruise side of the business, but nothing dramatic. The ships were always old and small, but customers loved them none the less. Well, that’s changed con...

Looking For School Holiday Cruises?

By Amy Ginder

Amy Ginder's blog

This time of year we have a lot of calls asking for late availability for the school holidays. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is very late in the day. Most cruise lines have filled all of their 3 and 4 berth cabins and those that have space will charge you astronomical prices. So what do you do if you are looking to cruise in the school holidays? The answer is book early! Book now for 2018, if you leave it to nearer the time not only will the prices climb but you are unlikely to ge...

Thomson Cruises have made some changes in recent years and things are really working for them, in the last 5 years they have seen an increase in passenger numbers of 40%, with 20% being in the last year alone. They have always been looked down upon by a lot of customers, although unjustly so as their reviews have always been good. But with older ships and less of the pomp and ceremony of other lines they have been viewed as being at the lower end of the market. In 2016, they made a major ...
