Missing a bit of Jane’s Inspiration

I am really missing “Cruising with Jane McDonald” and its not about her singing !!!

Her passion for cruising really shows through in every program viewed

I loved the different places that she visited this year and I guess so did the other 2 million viewers she got this year the most successful show of hers yet.

The one thing that really stood out was how versatile cruising can be.Jane experienced 4 totally different types of life on the water and that it isn’t always about the actual ship but about the destinations you can get to.

It certainly got our phones ringing and people were really interested in the destinations, the cruise lines featured confirmed there sales rocketed over the following weekends.

The first show she went on the gorgeous Ruby Princess , the largest of the ship she is sailing on carrying 3600 passengers with lots of facilities and things to do.I have to say this one was definitely my favorite as she visited the West Coast USA starting in LA seeing the world famous Hollywood sign shopping in Beverley Hills, Muscle beach , San Francisco and the Golden gate with and the cities famous cable cars. Ending in San Diego for a ride on the worlds highest rollercoaster.

The second show moved onto the Ocean Diamond where she visited Iceland a total opposite from the first show where she takes part in whale watching ,gets to see the outstanding Northern Lights, takes a dip in a thermal pool, herds sheep, meets the locals and visits a puffin sanctuary. She then finishes the trip off off with a visit to the fascinating capital of Reykjavik.

The third show again was a totally different experience on the very luxurious AmaDara river cruise ship sailing down the worlds twelfth longest river ‘The Mekong ‘. At some points it resembled Im a celebrity food challenges as she visited the food markets. Taking in Vietnam and Cambodia and seeing how the locals live was most certainly an eye opener and what a great way to see these places the luxury of a River cruise.

Finally she visited the Mississippi and sailed on a River cruise the American Queen the worlds largest steamboat. She joined the line’s “Antebellum South Lower Mississippi cruise” between the historical and musical cities of New Orleans and Memphis. She visited the plantations, learnt about the slavery and modern poverty and also the home of Elvis at Graceland.

After every episode I added the places to my bucket list
If you are interested in any of the cruises shown or any cruise give me a call.
