A December to remember …

Well this year will be the first time ( except when I was on Maternity leave) that I will be having all of Christmas and New Year off work in my travel career of 26 years. This will just top of an amazing and busy December I have had.
Its started with a girls Christmas shopping weekend in Manchester and a visit to the markets , although I have to say there wasn’t a lot of shopping done but plenty of laughing eating and drinking. The weekend after it was my birthday and we had a lovely day out again in Manchester but this time the husbands joined us.
It was then time for the Cruise.co.uk annual conference where we boarded the Fred Olsen Boudicca in Liverpool and visited Dublin for the day.It was a great 3 nights had an insight to what we have coming up in the word of cruise and also celebrated all of our success in the last year. It also reminded me of what a fantastic company and group of people I work with.
The first night was 70’s fancy dress and here is a picture of me with my friends and the cabin steward heading out to meet the rest of the group. In case you don’t recognise or remember we were Care Bears.

I also managed to fit in a night with my best friends for a Christmas drink and a meal out with my husband before the big man came on Christmas day.
Christmas for me is all about being with family and it is pretty crazy for us, we hire a room so all 25 of us can be together.
While you are reading this I will be away with my husband and 2 children and our dog. We have booked a lovely little cottage with an open fire in the lake district to take us through to the new year, plenty of walking and family time and NO WIFI !!!
