I Just Got Married!!

This weekend has been the most amazing and magical time for me.. on Saturday got I got married!! It was absolutely perfect and we loved every minute of it….the only sad part was it had to come to an end! In the lead up to the wedding everyone said to me make sure you stand back during the day and take it all in as it goes very quickly…..they were exactly right. From the morning getting up very early to the very last dance the day flew by and I only wish it could have lasted forever!

We got married in our local church which was so special to us both, surrounded by our family and friends it couldn’t have been any more perfect. Our little girl was so excited to be part of it and to have her there as our flower girl was the best feeling. If you ask her she says that she got married to mummy & daddy this weekend…in her little head that’s exactly what happened and it was so important to us that she felt part of the ceremony and the celebrations.

Our celebrations took place in a hotel in Manchester city centre…we both loved the hotel right from the start and it’s city location was perfect as we had lots of family travelling in from other cities and this meant it was easy for everyone to get to. I have a large family in Spain from my dad’s side and we were so happy when we had ten of my Spanish aunties, uncles and cousins arrive for our big day.

Thinking back over the day I keep thinking about my highlights…I honestly have so many I can’t begin to tell you! l loved wearing my dress and am so sad I won’t be able to wear it again. I loved my little flower girls who looked so gorgeous and literally melted my heart, my ushers both big and small who did such an amazing job, the best men who were fantastic- best speeches I have heard , my bridesmaids who looked stunning and looked after me all day, not forgetting our parents and all our family and friends. I think this is what made it so special being able to share it with all those we love. Of course not to forget my new husband! I honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world, corny as it sounds, it’s true and even though we have been together 7 years and lived together with our daughter Sofia it feels so so special to be husband and wife.

So after an amazing whirl wind weekend and a beautiful wedding it’s now time for us to plan our honeymoon! It will be the three of us so a honeymoon with a difference, but we couldn’t leave our little girl behind and I can’t wait for our next chapter to begin.
